How much weight do you want to lose?

What Is HCG And How Does It Work?

HCG stands for Human Chorionic Gonadotropin.  HCG is a hormone naturally produced in the body. It has many functions and is used medically to treat a variety of conditions. It is the pregnancy hormone. This hormone allows the body to metabolize fat and use it as energy for both mother and foetus. This acts as a “fail-safe” mechanism when energy is needed immediately. For weight loss, we use only a very small amount of HCG to capitalise on this same mechanism. Using HCG in this way does not mimic pregnancy; in fact, it can be safely used by both men and women. HCG is extremely safe. Women may experience very high levels during pregnancy with no adverse effects. Currently, there are no known established clinical side effects.

What Is The Difference Between The HCG Drops And The HCG Injections?

The HCG drops are taken orally 3 times per day where as 0.5 ml injections are injected either in the stomach fat, upper thigh, upper arm or buttox. The HCG oral drops are as effective as the injections and will provide the same results as the HCG injections. Is HCG Safe For Men?

HCG is naturally found in all the human tissue of all males and females alike.  It is therefore safe for men to use.  Men actually get faster results and tend to lose more weight than women.

If HCG Works So Well For Weight Loss, Why Don’t Pregnant Women Lose Weight?

HCG works to mobilize fat for utilization by the body only when there is a significant decrease in calories and fat.  For weight loss, a very low calorie diet of all the right foods is used to trigger HCG to help rid the body of fat.

Will My Metabolism Slow Down If I Am On A Very Low Calorie Diet?

It is true that normally when cutting back on calories and fat, our body stores fat and our metabolism slows down.  This happens because fat is really a life-saving source of stored energy.  When a low calorie diet is used in conjunction with the HCG, the hormone signals the body to use stored fat for energy, and will eliminate excess fat reserves.  It is a natural process, so no ill effects on your metabolism will result.  The HCG keeps the body from going into starvation mode and holding onto fat as it resets your metabolism.

How Much Weight Can I Expect To Lose On The Program?

Every person is different and results vary.  It depends on many factors including how much excess weight you have, your age and gender.  People that have recently dieted will also lose weight slower since the metabolism has already slowed down. The average weight loss is 2 – 2.5 Kg’s per week.

Would I Lose The Same Weight By Eating A Minimally Low Calorie Diet Without HCG?

Sure, you can lose weight by consuming fewer calories and fat, but because the body retains fat when deprived of calories, you will most likely lose muscle and bone before fat.  This causes your cellular metabolism to slow down, and eventually making adding weight easier, as well as decrease bone density and muscle mass. By using HCG with the low calorie diet, extra fat is mobilized for energy and the rest is eliminated.  The low calorie diet is vital in preventing immediate refilling of emptied fat cells.  You benefit by preferentially getting rid of excess fat without affecting the muscle and bone. With HCG you can lose the weight quickly and keep it off!!

Will The HCG Diet Help Me Keep My Weight Off?

According to Dr.Simeons, the first doctor to pioneer the HCG Diet, if the HCG diet protocol is followed the ending result will be that the hypothalamus gland (the gland that helps regulate weight & metabolism) will be reset.  Dr Simeons suggests that the body rethinks how to handle stored fat and appetite. With proper diet and exercise the weight loss with the HCG diet can last a lifetime.

What Is The Hypothalamus Gland?

The hypothalamus gland moderates, thyroid, adrenals, fat storage and more importantly your metabolic rate. As we age, our hypothalamus progressively accumulates toxins, causing it to malfunction.  This is partially the reason why our metabolism slows down as we age.

Do I Have To Follow A Special Diet?

The HCG diet injections cause your hypothalamus to mobilize the fat out of the fat storage locations so that it’s available to use.  While you are only consuming 800 calories, your hypothalamus is continually releasing the fat stored in your body.  Because of this, your body is actually operating on thousands of calories a day.  The result is your body using thousands of calories of fat from your body each day, the reason HCG dieters lose 0.5kg of fat or more per day.

HCG is only effective for weight loss if it is taken while strictly with the diet protocol. If you fail to follow the diet you will fail to lose weight. If you only follow the diet without taking HCG, you are simply starving yourself because there is no fat in the bloodstream to burn.

Simply said, BOTH, HCG and a low calorie diet is required.

Who Is A Right Candidate For The HCG Diet Injections / Drops?

The majority of men and women can use HCG injections for weight loss.  It is recommended that dieters consult a physician concerning your weight loss, along with the appropriate implementation of the HCG protocol.  The physician will NOT permit HCG weight loss injections for WOMEN who ARE PREGNANT OR NURSING.
